Profile
I am an experienced network engineer, and I am about to incorporate a business which is based on providing open source solutions integration services (hopefully with the help of Linux and Novell).
I have over 8 years of experience being passionately curious about technology solutions, and I have been experimenting with Linux since before I was old enough to drive (I think that puts in perspective how long I've used Linux).
If you'd like to learn more about me, my resume is located at nixwizard.net and my professional profile is located here. (courtesy of LinkedIn).
The Future
I have been waiting for Linux to be ready for the corporate desktop, and I think Novell's comprehensive solution is exactly what I've been waiting for. OWS especially is such a compelling offering that it borders on being disruptive, if the "word can be gotten out" to small and medium size enterprises correctly.
I plan on putting my "money where my mouth is" and when I get back to the US (I'm in the Army and deployed to Iraq right now) I plan on getting a solutions integration company off the ground. I have been contemplating what to name the company, because I want it to immediately project the nature of what it will provide. I think I have settled on OpenStack Inc. (OSi)
If you're curious the website for that endeavor will be located here.

Wow. Cool. Clients (which think they're logging into a Windows NT 4 style domain) can log in to an eDirectory backend without installing the Novell Client.
