Novell Small Business Suite 6.6 is available right now. The current suite includes Open Enterprise Server (NetWare 6.5 Kernel), GroupWise 7, Zenworks for Desktops 6.5, BorderManager 3.8, and more. Additionally, if you have a current upgrade protection or maintenance contract, you are also entitled to Novell Linux Small Business Suite which includes SuSE Enterprise Server 9, GroupWise 6.5/7 for Linux and more!

I have heard rumors that Novell management has decided to abandon SBS users with the current software offerings in both the netware and linux SBS product offerings. Can I get some confirmation, that this is the end of the line? I purchased upgrade protection, but I guess if they change the name to "Workgroup Suite" there is no upgrade path. I have been a loyal user since Netware 2.0, I guess if Novell is going to abandon me, it is time to abandon them! Great products, but I guess they have been deluded by the make $1,000's on 1000's of sales rather than $100's on 1000000's of sales bean-counter mantra. It looks as though, the company is being prep'ed for sale. It has been a great ride, I hope I am wrong !
