As already mentioned on the wiki main page, please feel free to join in. You can read anything in here without logging in. If you feel like commenting on something, you may use the Discussion tab (above), User Comments section (down), or email. For starting a new topic or editing a table, you'll need to use a Novell Login account (which you'll be prompted to create if you don't already have one). If you are unfamiliar with using Wiki's in general, please visit Novell Wiki or the grandaddy wiki info site www.wiki.org for some background info.
Several areas of the Novell webspace provide information regarding the SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server (commonly abbreviated as SLES).

General Linux Learning Information
Some general information on learning Linux is available at the Novell Certified Professional Linux page. That page contains course information links to classroom courses and self study kits. The following link contains some historical background of Linux:
- Linux LPIc1 module 1. (5.8MB) Just replace Ximian Desktop with SLED or openSUSE, replace Red Carpet Enterprise with ZENworks Linux Management, NNLS with Open Enterprise Server and you are up to date!
- This module 1 comes with a one day course slide show "The Linux Informational Workshop" (2.5MB)

- Step 1: The Quick References 1,2,3 (Linux quick knowledge scan)
- Step 2: The Labs (exercises belonging to Quick Reference Set 2 and 3) (5 days)
- Step 3: The Novell Classroom or Self Study Courses (More extensive theory plus labs). Courses: 3071, 3072, 3073. See CLP link. (3+5+5 days)
- Step 4: Xen Virtualization and High Availability Quick Reference 16, belonging to Exploring the High Availability Storage Infrastructure
If you are really into it:
- Step 5: The Novell Classroom or Self Study Courses (More extensive theory plus labs). Courses: 3074, 3075. See CLE link. (5+5 days)
Quick References
Not all Quick References are Linux related, but all contain information about Novell products. The Quick References are free for use, but may not be sold. The Quick References are continuously under construction. Feel free to add comments or send them to rzondervan at novell dot com. Not all QR's are completed. Except QR 1, the QR's use the same format: same font and colors, two columns and a maximum of 2 pages.

Linux Labs
Beginners can do these labs in 5 days, depending on their base knowledge. The labs are free for use, but may not be sold without permission. The labs refer to the Quick References 2 and 3.

I recently came across your Quick_Reference_13_ZENworks_Asset_Management.pdf on the Novell CoolSolutions ZENworks Wiki. I found it very useful and concise. Especially, since I am in the process of implementing ZAM right now. The ZAM QR is listed as #13. I was wondering if that implied you had authored other Quick Reference Cards. If so, would you happen to have a URL to were they are located? I could not find additional ones on the Wiki. Thanks, Doug
