NW5.1SP8 and Memory over 2GB

SP8 introduced some of the memory management features from NetWare 6.x back to 5.1. In particular, the migration of memory from the Virtual Memory Pool to to the File system pool is dependent on NLMs on the system requesting and releasing memory. Unfortunately, 5.1 systems generally don't have much memory activity, so memory doesn't migrate. To work around this, use FixCache.nlm:

For servers that have greater than 2GB of memory, use the following command prior to running FixCache.NLM

set file service memory optimization=2
