Setup Instructions

Basic instructions on getting your Mobility Pack running on your Blackberry Z10 device:

1. Make sure that your Mobility Pack server is up and running and you have the following information:

  • Server address
  • Port (if non-standard)
  • Whether the server requires a secure connection or not

2. On your device go to Settings >> Accounts >> Select the "Advanced" button at the bottom of the screen >> Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync

3. Enter the required information:

  • Enter A description
  • Leave Domain blank
  • Enter your Mobility Pack username
  • Enter your Email Address
  • Enter your Mobility Pack password
  • Enter The Mobility Pack Server Address
  • If SSL Security is used, make sure it is on the "on" position. (You are also able to change your port as was specified in step 1.)

4. Select "Next." If all of your information is correct, you should move on to a screen that asks you for the type of items you would like to sync (mail, calendar, etc.) If the information is not correct, there will be a pop up box that states "The settings for your account are incorrect."

Select "Done" after you have configured the type of items you would like to sync.

5. On your device, go to Mail, and navigate to your new account. Syncing should begin -- it may take a few minutes to perform the initial sync and pull down all of your items.
